Join Our Team as a Safety Coordinator!

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about workplace safety? We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support and strengthen our safety programs and compliance initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety records, coordinating training programs, managing documentation, and assisting with claims and injury management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety training records and electronic safety training logs.
  • Manage safety documentation and support compliance requirements through ISNetworld and Avetta platforms.
  • Coordinate and schedule safety training with department leaders.
  • Track employee participation and performance in company safety programs.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining site-specific safety plans.
  • Support injury management processes, including follow-up tracking and communication.
  • Assist with workers' compensation, auto, and property damage claims by gathering and organizing documentation.
  • Maintain OSHA documentation, including OSHA 300 logs and monthly safety statistics reports.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and safety-related analytics for leadership teams.
  • Support audits, special projects, and pre-qualification package preparation.
  • Coordinate safety meetings and provide administrative support to the VP of Safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills, including formulas, functions, databases, reports, and graphs.
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Workspace applications.
  • Comfortable using online systems and conducting internet research.
  • Ability to maintain highly accurate records and documentation.
  • Experience editing documents in Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Writer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional customer service and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Construction safety experience strongly preferred.
